Short description of the work
The artwork is an elaboration of Janko Konstantinov’s iconic work built in the 80s: the Post Office and Telecommunications Center. It is intended to be a diptych showing two details of the building repeated ad infinitum. In the first we have the body of brutalist architecture, Konstantinov’s work on prefab modules, light and shadows. In the second contemporary technological adaptation resulting in a new pattern of air conditioning units that one can see on the façade. Based on two photographs taken by the author in 2016.
